Description: | | Food Fight is an exhibition by Aimee Jones, Ashley Lester, Chase Palmer, Aubrey Vollrath and Ian Wilson focused in painting and ceramics. The artists explore a body of work that depicts the subject of food and consumerism.
Deconstructing (The)monstrosity of the Other investigates the social and historical tendencies humans inhabit to divide each other into two groups and considers the intersections within the categorized identities of the ‘other’. Artists include Aimee Jones, Krystle Lemonias, Tatianna Mesa Pajan, Kirsten Pettifor and Marlon Wilson.
The Carolyn M. Wilson Gallery hours are Mon-Thurs 11am-3pm.
Please join us for a joint reception on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 7-9pm. This event is free and open to the public.
