Wanjiru Kamuyu Artist’s talk for the College of The Arts in Theater 1.  Wanjiru Kamuyu is a native of Kenya and an M.F.A. graduate of Temple University. She began her dance training in Kenya, East 
Africa and later studied at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, American Dance Festival and Philadanco. She has been teaching with the USF Dance in Paris Programs since 2015.  This event 
is free and open to the public.

Dance guest artist Wanjiru Kamuyu will speak about how she integrates social consciousness into her solo work through performance (her stage work with An Immigrant’s Story) and through film (her work with Tommy Pascal in La Visite): https://caminaktion.eu/en/wkcollective-repertory/
