Guest Artist Masterclass: Jennifer Koh, Violin

Renowned concert violinist Jennifer Koh will present a master class in violin performance at the Lewis 
and Enid Barness Recital Hall at the University of South Florida’s School of Music at the Tampa 
campus.  Although performers have been preselected to work with Ms. Koh, the class is free and 
open to the public and Tampa Bay area music students.

The class will consist of three 30-minute segments focused on the following repertoire performed by 
music students from USF.

Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 35 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky
                1. Allegro moderato
                Violinist Nina Kim and Pianist Tatiana Brizhaneva

Scherzo tarantella, Op. 16 by Henryk Wieniawski
                Violinist Lindsey Jones and Pianist Tatiana Brizheneva

Violin Concerto no. 2 BB 117 – Bartok
                1. Allegro non troppo
                Violinist Christina Adams and Pianist Tatiana Brizhaneva

This community engagement and educational activity is a collaboration between University of South 
Florida School of Music/Tampa Campus and The Florida Orchestra.  For further information about this

Ms. Koh is the featured soloist in Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto with The Florida Orchestra under the 
baton to Tito Muñoz on January 16, 17 and 18 in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater.  For
