The School of Music’s fourth Composition in Asia Symposium concludes on January 29 at 2:00 PM with a unique tribute to Asian and Asian-influenced composers throughout the world. The program includes music by Cambodian composer Kim Sophy (Memory from Darkness for violin, cello and piano), Iranian woman composer Niloufar Nourbakhsh (Everything is Dark for clarinet, trumpet and live electronics), and Korean women composers Oh IeDon (a la barré for piano), Joo Jeonghyeon (Solo for haegeum), Park Hanee (Eo Doog Shi Ni for saxophone), and Na Hyo-shin (Great Noise for piano).
