| Description: | | The acclaimed USF Jazz Ensembles I & II join forces for an evening of music that will showcase the
incredible diversity of big band music over the past 60+ years. Special tributes to the late jazz
masters Gerald Wilson and Fred Sturm (past USF guest artists) are planned in addition to the
performance of classic works from the bands of Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Thad Jones as well as
contemporary contributions from the likes of Darcy James Argue and USF’s Chuck Owen. |
