Description: | | The USF New-Music Consortium presents a concert featuring works by composer-in-residence Hilary Tann. Hilary Tann is the John Howard Payne Professor of Music at Union College, Schenectady.
She holds degrees in composition from the University of Wales at Cardiff and from Princeton University. Praised for its lyricism and formal balance, her music is influenced by her love of Wales
and a strong identification with the natural world. Under the leadership of faculty advisors Dr.
Baljinder Sekhon and Dr. Eunmi Ko, the New-Music Consortium is a student-run organization at
University of South Florida's School of Music. The NMC produces concerts of contemporary
music at the University of South Florida and throughout the local community. |
