| Description: | | The proficient pianist produces good tone, develops sound techniques that prevent injury,
and maintains longevity as performer by using the body efficiently. The Symposium
focuses on awareness of the mind-body connection in learning, teaching and playing the piano.
Internationally celebrated pianist-pedagogues with expertise on pianists' psychophysiological
mechanics will conduct a two-day Piano Pedagogy Symposium at the University of South Florida,
School of Music, Barness Recital Hall.
This final recital features players who have attended the conference. |
