Come hear an evening of both classic music from the great history of
the big bands and the most current big band music you could possibly
hear - BRAND NEW Compositions by 2 of USF's own Jazz Composition
students.
Jazz Ensemble II will open the show with some classic big band music
ranging from the Jimmie Lunceford Bands "For Dancers Only" (1936), to
Count Basie, Buddy Rich and the Clayton Brothers Band.
Jazz Ensemble I's performance will include the premier 2 new works by
Master of Jazz Composition students Luis Colon and Geoff Sheil.
