The 2015/16 edition of the acclaimed USF Jazz Ensemble debuts with a concert of classic jazz 
works alongside contemporary compositions of some of the most intriguing artists of today.   Kenny 
Wheeler, the celebrated Canadian composer/trumpet player who passed away just a year ago will be 
remembered with a premier USF performance of selections from his  "Sweet Time Suite" - likely the 
most beloved of all his compositions.  In addition, an arrangement of a movement of Director Chuck 
Owen’s Grammy-nominated "River Runs" Concerto will be performed.
