Lecture Title: Architecture's part in creating harmony between the built and natural world.
Lecture Description: Presenting key projects produced by the Brazilian firm Bernardes Arquitetura, Francisco Abreu (Partner) discusses the role of architecture in promoting safety and well-being in a healthy relationship with the natural environment. With an emphasis on structural efficiency, the use of local natural materials, and a preference for solutions with low environmental impact, each project reflects a commitment to timeless and sustainable architecture designed to improve the users' quality of life and provide an authentic relationship with nature.

Lecture Title: Unavoidable intersections (Intersecciones Inevitables)
Lecture Description: Join us for a reflective occasion exploring how contemporary buildings, preservation projects, and advocacy initiatives in the Hispanic Caribbean illuminate culture,
politics, and pedagogy as vital forces behind architectural design. This lecture will address how these projects promote health, safety, and welfare (HSW) by enhancing community well-being, ensuring safety through thoughtful design, and fostering inclusive environments. Participants will gain insights into the integral role of HSW in shaping resilient and culturally responsive architecture.
