The venerable Fischer Duo, with cellist Norman Fischer and pianist Jeanne Kierman, is the 
preeminent established cello-piano duo in North America, having performed throughout the United 
States and on five continents. Fischer Duo performs the entire standard sonata repertory, and has 
distinguished itself as a commissioning ensemble with a vast discography. This concert event initiates 
a week-long residency in Tampa Bay, where they are the invited guests of Violin Shop Tampa as a 
part of its Collegiate Master String Artists Series
