The USF Wind Ensemble's final concert of the semester is rapidly approaching, and the outstanding musicians in the band would love for you to join us for what promises to be a wonderful afternoon. The concert, titled "Shine", is on Sunday, Nov 14 at 2 pm in USF's Concert Hall. Repertoire includes all music by living composers including Jodi Blackshaw's "The Blessing of Light", Jess Turner's "I Know Moonrise", and Brian Balmage's award-winning "Love and Light". In addition, we will perform "Stars", by former USF professor Baljinder Sekhon, arranged by Associate Director of Bands, Marc Sosnowchik, and we will feature one of our faculty "stars", Calvin Falwell, on the final movement of Frank Ticheli's "Concerto for Clarinet and Winds".
