The USF Jazz Ensemble II is a large jazz ensemble featuring both undergraduate and graduate 

students. Our repertoire is taken from classic jazz recordings, original arrangements from the USF 

library, and occasionally from student arrangements. The mission of the JE2 is to provide a valuable 

applied learning experience to our students through a large ensemble format. We incorporate music 

from many different styles and eras, allow students to develop improvisational skills, and present 

concerts for the public through the USF School of Music.
