The Sarasota School of Architecture - better described as a movement rather than a school - was a regional variation of Modern Architecture that thrived in Sarasota and southwest Florida between 
1940 and 1970.  Dr. Christopher S. Wilson, Architecture and Design Historian at Ringling College of Art + Design and "Scholar-in-Residence" of ARCHITECTURE SARASOTA, will both narrate the 
story of the Sarasota School during this time period and reveal snippets from his upcoming book that chronicles the continuation of the "school" between 1975-2025.
