| Description: | | The public is cordially invited to attend the USF Wind Ensemble's second concert of the semester on Sunday, November 17 at 2:00 pm. The program, entitled "Takin' It To Church" features piece that
explores many of the styles of music that have been used in times of worship, mourning, and
celebration throughout the centuries. Works included "Fugue a la Gigue" by Bach, "The Power of
Rome and the Christian Heart" by Grainger, "Song for Silent Voices" by Wayne Oquin (written in
honor of the victims of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas HS shooting, and "Amen" by Carlos Simon. |
