The nationally renowned USF Wind Ensemble will be presenting its second concert of the season on 
Thursday evening, November 19, with Director of Bands, Dr. John C. Carmichael conducting. "On 
the Road to Charleston" is a benefit concert for the Wind Ensemble’s travel expenses to perform in 
Charleston, SC for the Southern Division joint Conference of the College Band Directors National 
Association and the National Band Association.  A highlight of our program will be the premiere of a 
new Trombone Concerto by Dana Wilson, with our own Tom Brantley as the soloist.  The rest of the 
program will be comprised of exciting and inspirational music you will not want to miss.
