Description: | | The University of South Florida Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of William Wiedrich, continues
a spectacular season with a nod to France. The enchanting "Nocturnes" of Claude Debussy opens
the program, featuring the women of USF choirs in its haunting finale, 'Sirenes'. The program closes
with the iconic jazz-inspired tone poem "An American in Paris" of George Gershwin. Also on the
program, the winner of the USFSO 2015-16 Concerto Competition will be highlighted. |
