Description: | | The USF Jazz Ensemble I performs the Music of Composer Fred Sturm. Featuring special guest soloists:

Tom Brantley, trombone
Award winning Composer Fred Sturm is artist-in -residence this Fall for the acclaimed USF Jazz Studies program. Fred brings his vast experience and knowledge to USF, working USF Jazz Composition students and the USF Jazz Ensemble. Fred's arrangements and compositions for big band are loved and respected by the jazz community, his music is performed and recorded across the US and abroad. Fred Sturm is also well known in the classical realm, as his compositions are performed by orchestras, wind ensembles and chamber groups worldwide.
