| Description: | | USF’s Opera Workshop program presents Purcell’s "The Fairy-Queen." This semi-opera of the 17th
century is based on an adaptation of Shakespeare’s comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This
modern adaptation will feature the USF Chamber Singers, vocalists from USF’s Opera Workshop
program and a small orchestra of USF instrumentalists. Our representation of this classic work will
feature love, grief, scorn, sports, debauchery and more! Join us for an evening of baroque opera
presented in a modern setting. |
