A two-concert festival of the "hardcore classical" music of Paul Reller. Twelve uncompromising 

compositions of recent music (including seven world premieres) will be performed in the two 

concert venues of the USF School of Music. Special guests Mark Foley, Conrad Harris, 

Margaret Lancaster, Corey Merenda, and Doug O Connor will be featured along with the USF 

Wind Ensemble, the USF Clarinet Ensemble, the USF Percussion Ensemble, the USF Brass 

Choir and USF faculty. 



Concert 2:  "Broken Consorts"

 

Works for USF s Wind Ensemble, Clarinet Ensemble, Brass Choir and Percussion Ensemble. 

Guest Mark Foley is soloist on a massive concerto for amplified double bass, 2 pianos and 9 

percussionists. An ensemble of 20 brass instruments plays a piece in which they surround the 

audience
