In the classical music world, two instrumental, full-ranged inhabitants possess the amazing characteristics of either compatibly blending or strikingly emerging, as circumstances require... just as 
"musical chameleons"... in whatever manner the composed solo, chamber, or orchestral scores may require.

On the occasions of two upcoming area mid-February chamber music programs in north Tampa and downtown St. Petersburg, prominent musicians, closely affiliated with their uniquely expressive, 
compatible woodwind and string instruments (and piano) offer chamber and solo musical testimony why several of the world’s most prominent composers of the present and past wrote so aptly for the 
clarinet, viola and piano in such extraordinary trios and solos.	

Opening within the Tampa Bay area’s new-year concert season for its tenth anniversary, the St. Petersburg College / Palladium Theater ENCORE Series recital event #1 will feature Florida 
Orchestra Principal Clarinetist, Brian Moorhead; Indianapolis Symphony Principal Violist, Michael Strauss; as well noted area pianist, Brent Douglas in an evocative, diverse solo and chamber music 
program -  presenting music by Robert Schumann, W. A. Mozart, Max Bruch, Igor Stravinsky, and  Alan Hovhaness.
