The acclaimed USF Jazz Ensemble I, under the direction of Chuck Owen, will pay tribute to the legendary jazz composer/arranger, Thad Jones, with a concert that features not only his own works but those of a number of disciples and contemporary composers who were clearly influenced by his writing (Bob Brookmeyer, Jim McNeely, Darcy James Argue, and others.)
