The Bay Area Saxophone Quartet was formed with the intent to share a “different “side of the saxophone to people who love serious music. The concert will feature music of many genres, from Renaissance and Baroque to Classical, Romantic, Modern, Traditional, Jazz, and Ragtime, and will include music by Bach, Frescobaldi, Scarlatti, Debussy, Bozza, and Itturalde, among others. Audiences are often amazed at the sound, expressiveness, and flexibility the ensemble portrays through the saxophone.
