Internationally exhibited and interdisciplinary artist, Alex Da Corte, presents a lecture about his work at the USF School of Art & Art History. Da Corte was born in Camden, New Jersey, in 1980. He
received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, and a Master of Fine Arts from the Yale University School of Art. Working as an "anthropologist of the immediate past,"
artist Da Corte creates sculpture with the colorful artifacts of turn-of-the-21st-century consumer culture.
This lecture is presented by the Kennedy family Endowed Artist and Scholar Residency at the USF
