Body Stories |
Event Type: | | Theatre |
Facility: | | Theatre 2 (THR) |
Presented By: | | School of Theatre |
Description: | | Sexy, embarrassing, graceful, heavy, energized, aching, youthful, ageing: our body is our closest and yet perhaps least understood companion. What stories do today's bodies tell? And are we able to
listen?
Body Stories is a fast-moving, witty and poignant new work devised by Filter Theatre with students from USF.
Filter is a "ground-breaking theatre collective" (London Evening Standard) hailed as "masters of a ramped-up culture" (New York Times) and "famed for their sonic virtuosity" (London Guardian). They have performed across Europe and the USA and made shows for the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. |
