British International Theatre Production (BRIT) |
Event Type: | | Theatre |
Facility: | | TAR-Theatre Centre |
Presented By: | | School of Theatre |
Description: | | This year our BRIT Guest Artists will work with our most outstanding theatre students to create an original work focused on the issues that women face and the roles they play. Helen Tennison, director of last year’s Titus Andronicus, returns to lead this project.
The BRIT program seeks out professional directors and choreographers, leading actors in theatre, television and film, voice and speech experts and top rate designers from the UK, and brings their knowledge and experience to the theatre students at USF for an intensive 8-week residency every spring. We will be forever thankful and grateful to the founders and their vision for our USF School of Theatre and Dance.
