Description: | | The USF Wind Ensemble will be performing a concert entitled "Music of the Soul" on Sunday,
February 26, at 2:00 pm in the School of Music Concert Hall. The program features several selections
that invoke introspection due to the condition that stimulated their composition. Rarely heard, The
Power of Rome and the Christian Heart by Percy Grainger will be performed on this concert. The
Wind Ensemble will also be playing an award-winning selection written by Toshio Mashima. It is La
dance du phenix, which was inspired by Kyoto, one of Japan’s most beautiful cities. It will be a
diverse concert that should give you opportunities to be both inspired and introspective. You are sure
to be entertained. |
