Description: | | "Portable Friction" In today’s world certain ideas about sexuality have become the norm while other thoughts have become much more suppressed and almost frowned upon by the ideas of modern
society. The works selected for this exhibition showcase the uncomfortable exploration and intense curiosity of one’s own sexuality and how we have chosen to go about the exploration. Portable
Friction is a group show featuring works by Nadia Ivanova, Jessi Ramirez, Aroldo Vitoro, and Gina Stucchio. By using different mediums such as painting, photography, installation, and sculpture we
hope to enhance the idea of exploration further into the mind of the viewer while also engaging all the senses throughout the exhibition. |
