A rising young star in the new music arena, American cellist Justin Daugherty focuses on music written by gay composers in the twentieth-century in a solo program entitled "Queering the Pitch." 
Playing music by Britten, DiOrio, Muczynski, and Rorem.  Justin explores the possible implications of "gay aesthetic" in the music he has chosen.  An informal stage talk-back will follow.
