Event Type: | | Lecture |
Facility: | | Communications & Information Sciences (CIS) |
Presented By: | | School of Art & Art History |
Description: | | "Improvisational Musical Percussion Performance" with D. Nottingham
In all art forms, including music, the software "form" of a work has begun to dominate spatial and temporal forms. In this workshop/performance, Barry Moon and Doug Nottingham will lead performers/artists through a series of exercises intended to draw comparisons and contrasts between various forms. The workshop will be of particular relevance to improvisers, regardless of their "instrument" (dance, paint, video, music). |
