BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAIN ARTS AND CULTURE. JACK HAS WRITTEN A SET OF NEW JAZZ AND BLUES BASED WORKS USING INSPIRATIONAL ELEMENTS OF MOUNTAIN ARTS,
CULTURE, HISTORY AND MUSIC FOR THIS CONCERT AND RECORDING PROJECT. INCLUDED IN THIS CONCERT ARE WORKS BASED ON: TRADITIONAL LOG CABIN BUILDING
TECHNIQUES, PAINTINGS BY ARTIST ELIZABETH ELLISON, THE ANVIL "LANGUAGE" OF BLACKSMITH BEA HENSLEY, WHITEWATER RIVER EXPERIENCE, AND WILKINS JAZZ
BASED TWISTS ON COAL MINING BLUES AND MOUNTAIN MUSIC TRADITIONS. COME OUT AND HEAR WILKINS MUSIC PERFORMED BY MEMBERS OF THE USF JAZZ FACULTY PLUS
