Description: | | As part of the Fifth USF-Performing Arts Medicine Conference, we are pleased to present an “Evening of Evolving Creativity: Performing Arts Showcase” on March 9th at 7:30 PM in the University Concert Hall. The program features diverse genres and original works created by CoTA faculty and colleagues. The program starts with a piano duo, Windhover by Daniel Perlongo, performed by Sang-Hie Lee and Ghadeer Abiado; followed by a short film of “Dance is for Every BODY” choreographed by Andrew Carroll; “Soul Let Fly, created by Fanni Green and performed by Fanni Green, Tonya Quillen, and Don Laurin Johnson; “Movement in Your Own Hands” created by John Parks and Fred Johnson and performed by Fred Johnson, Don Laurin Johnson, John Parks, and Katurah Robinson; “Was, Was, Am: A Songwriter’s Journey” created by Allyssa Jones and performed by Allyssa Jones and Julian Pernett Castilla; and ends with a Dance “pas de deux from If I Cry” by Tampa Bay Ballet Company headed by Paula Nunez and performed by Maria Fernanda Papa and Humberto Rivera with music by Mikael Karlsson. |
