| Description: | | Internationally acclaimed USF Music Faculty Artist Dr. Kyoung Cho, Soprano presents a multi-media
lecture-recital "Songs of Freedom: A Tribute to the Spirituals" with Guest Artists: Dr. Kyung Kim
(University of Dayton) and Dr. Won Cho, Bass (University of Alabama at Birmingham) featuring the
Spirituals of historic and artistic significance with an overview of history, development, and its
importance for the concert stage. Visual, Audio, and Video samples will be presented with live
performance of the Spirituals, arranged by the prominent arrangers and composers. |
