| Description: | | Jazz Vibraphonist Jason DeCristofaro will present a Guest Artist Recital at 12:30pm March 3, in the
Jazz Rehearsal Hall in the USF School of Music. Jason DeCristofaro is an active musician, music
educator and composer based in Asheville, NC. The winner of the 2011 Yamaha/Percussive Arts
Society Terry Gibbs Competition, an international scholarship competition for jazz vibraphonists,
Jason has performed as a guest artist at numerous jazz festivals and given clinics on Jazz
improvisation and performance at several universities. Jason will be performing his own compositions
with USf Jazz students and faculty. |
