Description: | | THE FINAL JAZZ ENSEMBLES CONCERT OF THE YEAR WILL SHOWCASE USF JAZZ ANESMBLE I AND II IN AN EXCITING CONCERT OF BIG BAND MUSIC.
THE "DEUCE" (JAZZ ENS II) WILL OPEN WITH LITERATURE FROM CLASSIC AND CONTEMPORARY BIG BAND REPERTOIRE.
USF JAZZ ENSEMBLE I, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF PROFESSOR TOM BRANTLEY WILL FOLLOW, PERFORMING JAZZ CLASSICS AND CONTEMPORARY WORKS, INCLUDING NEW
COMPOSITIONS BY USF GRADUATE STUDENTS FROM THE WELL KNOWN USF JAZZ COMPOSITION PROGRAM.
USF JAZZ ENSEMBLES ARE RECOGNIZED AS SOME OF THE TOP STUDENT JAZZ GROUPS IN THE NATION. USF JAZZ GROUPS HAVE PERFORMED AT MANY OF THE MOST
RECOGNIZED INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVALS AND HAVE RELEASED A NUMBER OF RECORDINGS OVER THE YEARS.
