| Description: | | The University of South Florida Symphony Orchestra and conductor William Wiedrich end another
exciting season with a vibrant program of orchestral masterpieces. The concert opens with the
striking brass of Strauss's Vienna Philharmonic Fanfare. The moving and etherial "blue cathedral" of
Philadelphia composer Jennifer Higdon is followed by Rachmaninoff's lush and beautiful Third
Symphony. |
