Since the inception of America our country has been sought out as a safe haven, a land of opportunity and a birthplace of invention and art. The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay will explore this most American of ideals through the presentation of Upon these shores, a concert featuring music of and about the immigrant experience in America. The Chorale will present music from many genres which includes two new commissions, one by renowned American composer and conductor Dale Warland, and the other by award-winning composer Jake Runestad.
