| Description: | | Internationally acclaimed USF Music Faculty Artist Dr. Kyoung Cho, Soprano presents a recital a
multi-media lecture- recital "Songs of Freedom: A Tribute to the Spirituals" with Guest Artists: Dr. Won
Cho, Bass (the University of Alabama at Birmingham) and Professor Koung-Yel Choi (Baekseok
University, Korea) featuring the Spirituals of historic and artistic significance with an overview of
history, development, and its importance for the concert stage. Visual, Audio, and Video samples with
live performance of the Spirituals arranged by the leading arrangers and composers of the Spirituals
will be presented. |
