Metamorphoses, directed by USF School of Theatre and Dance Director Marc Powers and Dance faculty member Michael Foley, is a contemporary retelling of classical Greek mythology. The play is
staged in and around a body of water where each character must face and reflect on a life-changing moment. From Midas’s golden touch to Aphrodite’s curse, from Eros and Psyche’s love to Phaeton’s
fiery ride across the sky, themes of redemption, forgiveness and the transformative power of love lie at the heart of this extraordinary piece of theatre.
Please be advised that this play has mature themes and brief nudity.
