On April 15th, Jazz@USF will present The USF Jazz 1 in concert featuring the Music of the Count Basie Orchestra, a premiere of a brand new work by USF’s own, Ross Strauser and music featuring 
the  Trombone.  The concert is in memory of Cole Thompson, a former member of this ensemble.  We will perform arrangements of "Over the Rainbow", "Wave", along with the USF Trombone Choir led 
by faculty member Ross Holcombe.  The USF Jazz 1 and Jazz@USF  is led by Trombone Professor and Director of Jazz Studies, Tom Brantley. Special Guest and Trumpet Alumnus of USF, Matt Mill 
will also be featured on this concert.
