USF Concert and Symphonic Bands will present a joint concert featuring cherished transcriptions by Bernstein, Shostakovich, Strauss, works by popular wind composers including Grainger, Bocook,  and Ticheli, and the Florida premier of award-winning composer Michael Schelle's "The End of the World." Schelle's work about the 2011 tsunami that struck Japan, is theatrical, poignant, challenging, and moving.
