The University of South Florida Wind Ensemble will be presenting its final concert of the season, 
which will feature two compositions that were composed in part for the USF Wind Ensemble. We will 
be giving the Florida premiere of the new Concerto for Alto Saxophone by Frank Ticheli, which will 
feature Dr. Clifford Leaman, professor of Saxophone at the University of South Carolina. Another 
commissioned work to be performed will be the 2nd movement of Symphony 9 by David Maslanka. 
We will also be showcasing our percussion section on a performance of Karel Husa’s Concerto for 
Percussion.
