Description: | | Spring Stage Combat Classes
Taught by USF Professor and Certified Stage Combat Instructor Dan Granke.
Classes are open to all skill levels. Beginners will have a chance to learn the fundamentals of theatrical fighting and have fun exploring the discipline of stage combat. Advanced Students will be given the opportunity to learn dynamic new techniques for their own practice as well as practice methods to take their theatrical combat to the next level.
SAFD Skills proficiency testing will be offered at the end of the course
Disciplines offered:
Single Sword Saturdays 2 - 5PM
Unarmed Sundays 11AM - 2PM
Knife Sundays 2 - 5PM
Registration open to the public.
$300 per individual weapon. Weapons may be taken individually. Passing all three weapons qualifies the performer for Actor Combatant status in the SAFD For questions or to register, contact Professor Granke: granke@usf.edu.
