| Description: | | Please join the USF Wind Ensemble on April 19 at 2:00 for their final concert of the Academic Year.
"Laughter and Tears" features wind band masterworks "Music for Prague 1968", and "J'ai Ete au
Bal", and well as a newer addition to the repertoire "Popcopy" by Scott McAllister which takes a
humerous look at popular culture. The concert with feature junior Angel DeArmas on tuba as the
winner of our first Student Concerto Competition. Angel will be performing the first movement of
Barnes' "Concerto for Tuba and Wind Band." |
