The great Bassist/Composer Rufus Reid will make a very special appearance as part of the USF 
Monday Night Jazz series this season.  Rufus Reid is one of the true living icons in jazz, with a 
performance career as a leader of numerous groups and as a sideman with almost every important 
jazz artist of the 20th century.  Rufus is bringing a new composition project to be performed with the 
USF Jazz Ensemble I.  His compositions have garnered international attention and acclaim, as well 
as many awards.
