| Description: | | The Florida Wind Band, the professional wind band of the Tampa Bay region and of Florida, will present a program of wind band compositions that are normally associated with special events.
Included will be Fanfare for a Great Hall by Jack Stamp, Crown Imperial by William Walton, Academic Festival Overture by Johannes Brahms, Celebration by Phillip Sparke and Music for a Festival by
Gordon Jacob. This exciting program will not only serve as a delightful finale to the moth of gala concerts celebrating the opening of the new school of music, it will also define the excellence and
professionalism of one of the nation's premiere musical ensembles. |
