Description: | | Double Reed Camp at the University of South Florida. Admission is open to all double reeds ages 12 and up.
FEES:
Resident Camper: $495.00 (breakfast and lunch included)
Non-Resident (day) Camper: $315.00 (lunch included)
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
A typical day includes all or part of the following: reed class, master class, mass double reed ensemble, small ensembles.
A final concert will be given in the Concert Hall at The University of South Florida on Saturday, June 16th at 2:00 PM and will feature all the participating campers. A faculty concert will be given during
the week of camp.
All campers will check-in at The School of Music on Sunday morning, 10:00 AM. Luggage will be
stored and resident campers will check-in to the Embassy at the end of the first day of camp. If you have a roommate preference, please make note of it on the registration form.
WHAT TO BRING:
SNACKS: Each 2-room suite includes a small regrigerator, so be sure to bring snacks and drinks.
CLOTHING: Campers should bring at least one change of clothes for each day of camp. Bring casual, hot-weather clothing. T-shirts and short must reflect good taste and comfortable shoes.
Pack an umbrella in case of rain.
CONCERT CLOTHING: Camp t-shirt (will be provided) and full length blue jeans.

OBOE: Mandrel, knife, cutting block, cane (gouged, shaped and folded), staples, string
BASSOON: Forming mandrel, knife, cutting block, cane (profiled), string
