The exhibition includes several recent large-scale freestanding sculptures, a new series of drawings 
and a commission for the West Gallery. Fernandez is internationally known for her immersive room-size installations and evocative large-scale sculptures that address space, light and perception 
characterized by distinctive use of industrial materials and processes interwoven into a galaxy of sensory ingredients. 
Blind Landscape will travel to the Blanton Museum of Art, University of Texas Austin (November 1, 2009 - January 3, 2010).
