Resident Artist Series: McCormick Duo |
Event Type: | | Music |
Facility: | | Fine Arts Hall (FAH) |
Presented By: | | School of Music |
Description: | | The McCormick Duo (flute/percussion) has received high critical acclaim from such leading journals as Gramophone, Fanfare and American Record Guide. They are presenting a program of new and
unusual works for flute, percussion and ensemble including Hugo Weisgall’s Tangents and Jolyon Brettingham Smith’s The Doors of Perception.
Tapping into its distinguished music faculty talent, the College of Visual & Performing Arts has created the Resident Artist Series to bring attention to the artistic excellence of the School of Music and also
