The soprano Heather Barnes and celebrated USF alumna cellist Jennifer Bewerse tour nationally and
internationally as the duo Diagenesis (Webster's:  1. The process of chemical and physical change 
in deposited sediment during its conversion to rock).  They continue to commission works, with 
recent world premieres by James Kallembach, Lynn Petersen, Mischa Salkind-Pearl, Scott Ordway, 
Aaron Myers, and Sarah Hersh.  Performances at soundSCAPE in Maccagno, Italy, Banff Centre in 
Canada, and concerts in the United States in Boston, Chicago, San Diego, Montana, Florida and 
beyond!
